The definition of high customs duties on China can be an advantage for India, as Chinese companies can think of lower customs duties to transport their activities such as India. The Indian Express newspaper writes about this.
"It simply came to our notice then that the newspaper Donald Trump stopped working on 75 countries, including India, and at the same time as 125% customs duties on China.
"Highly high customs duties on China can become a relative advantage for India, as companies in China can now move their activities to countries with lower customs duties," Indian Express writes. However, according to the publication, concerns remain on the risk of pilping from the Chinese market to India.
