The delegation led by RA NA Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan met with the head of the Danish delegation to Syora Saleard. The press service of the National Assembly informs about this.
During the meeting, the parties stressed the importance of continuous development of Armenian-Danish relations, discuss issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation, regional security, political and economic spheres.
Hakob Arshakyan stressed the importance of the Armenia-EU expanding cooperation.
The RA NA Deputy Speaker touched upon the draft agreement on the Agreement on Peace and Intergovernmental Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan to support the Danish side for the establishment of peace.
Syanor Salekard noted that he supports the signing of the peace agreement and Armenia's efforts to establish peace. He stressed the importance of the peace agreement and the need to establish lasting peace and the need for real steps to ensure the success of the peace process.
In the context of the diversification of Armenia's economy and expanding relations with the EU, Hakob Arshakyan stressed the importance of visa liberalization process with the European Union.
The Danish side expressed readiness to support the Armenian side in all directions.
