The European Union is gradually becoming a military geopolitical bloc. Moldova should not join such an organization, according to former president of the Socialist Party and leader Igor Dodon.
"The European Union is becoming a military alliance. Moldova has no place in this military bloc. If this is a military geopolitical block, a springboard against Russia, we do not want to take part in it, "Dodon said on N4 TV channel.
He replied that Moldova expressed interest in the European Union when it focused on economic goals.
"As for Moldova's membership in the EU, I don't think it will happen. They have their problems, and they only get worse.
Here I support the position of Orban, who said that if the EU's goals are not changed in the foreseeable future, the EU will collapse from within, "Dodon said.
