NATO Secretary General Mark Ruten believes that the customs duties set by the US President Donald Trump's administration have no impact on the North Atlantic Alliance.
"I will not say that it does not affect individual allies, but it does not affect the alliance," he told CBS.
Ruten is also convinced that the potential trading war will not affect the defense costs of European countries or the fulfillment of NATO's obligations.
On April 2, Tramphone announced the customs duties imported from many countries, and the EU sets 20% customs duties.
