Venezuela will overcome the difficulties of the trade and economic war announced by US President Donald Trump. The statement came from the President of the Republic of Bolivaria Nicolas Maduro.
"We are ready to overcome any difficulties in the economic war, which the US President has announced the whole world and Venezuela," said Maduro on Venezolana de Televisión TV channel.
He believes that Trump has taken customs duties and tax measures against countries that can "deprive humanity and Venezuela about the right to have a future."
Maduro stressed that the republic "prepared for the global trade and economic war and developed programs for any opportunity," since Venezuela is a "free, sovereign and independent country."
Trump reported on April 2 that customs duties will define the goods and territories.
