As reports "Armenpress" referring to the official website of the European Commission, EC Chief Ursula Von Der Lyen expressed the opinion at the plenary session of the EU-Central Asia's first summit.

"Central Asia is a global gate and it is Eurasia's beating heart. That is why our investment agenda focuses on this region so much. Last year, we have planned 10 billion euros for the Trans-Caspian transport corridor. It will reduce the land road between Europe and Central Asia for about half. It's only 15 days. The corridor will also open the unused potential of business between our regions. And this will stimulate the ties and trade between the five Central Asian countries, "he said.

Von der Layen announced that in 2025 a new investor forum will be held in Uzbekistan, which will provide private funding in the corridor and will allow appreciation. In his opinion, the distribution world will stimulate the connection between the above-mentioned five countries and Europe.
