The Palestinian Hamas movement confirmed that one of the commanders of his military wing, Isaddin al-Qasam Brigades was killed in the south of Lebanon as a result of an Israeli strike. The relevant announcement was published on the Telegram channel of the radicals.
"We inform that the commander of Al-Qasam Brigades Hasan Ahmed Farat died as a result of Israel's assassination attempt by Israel in Saida, south of Lebanon. Hamas added that his son, Hamza, who was also a member of the group, was also killed by Farhat.
Earlier on Friday, the Israeli Defense Army (IDF) announced the murder of Hamas Commander Hasan Farhat, which hit the Saida region. According to the Israeli Defense Army, Farhat "has organized many terrorist attacks against Israeli peaceful residents and members of the Israeli Defense Army."
