Amazon has sent an official offer to buy American assets of Tiktok social network. This was reported by The New York Times.

With the appropriate intention, a letter was addressed to the US Vice President J. D.vens and Minister of Trade Howard Lutnik.

It is noted that although the negotiators are not serious about the Amazon proposal, the company remains the largest potential of Tiktok.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump expressed confidence that the blockade of the platform will not necessarily, and that the seller of it will still happen. On January 20, 2025, he signed an executive order that Tiktok ban was temporarily postponed to the United States until April 5.
