About three hundred people came to the rally, they kept posters with the slogans "Gagauzia for His Rights" and "We are with the Gutuli". The protesters are protesting against the chosen head of autonomy against "political pressure".
The head of Gagauzia was arrested on March 25 at Chisinau Airport and was taken to the National Anti-Corruption Center on the basis of illegal funding for the pre-election campaign during Gagauzia elections in 2023.
On March 28, the Chisinau District Court ruled for 20 days to arrest Gutul. At the same time, the prosecutor's office has submitted to Gutul for 30 days, which was discussed on Monday, but in the end the meeting was postponed on Tuesday.
