The President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro, Deputy Prime Minister Philip Ivanovich.


Welcoming the guest, President Khachaturian highlighted the high-ranking reciprocal visits and meetings, considering them as a key factor in the development of relations between the two countries and the formation of the political agenda. He stressed that in order to expand cooperation circles, it is necessary to intensify joint efforts to make the potential in all spheres of mutual interest.


"I am sure that during your visit, you have outlined the main directions and opportunities that will contribute to the development of relations between our two countries," said President Khachaturian.


Philip Ivanovich thanked for the warm reception, emphasizing the friendly relations between Armenia and Montenegro.


"It is a great honor for us to visit Yerevan and meet with you. Undoubtedly, as you mentioned, the main purpose of my visit is to promote the relations between Armenia and Montenegro, which are based on long-term friendship, and we are happy to take steps in this direction, "said the Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign and European Cases of Montenegro.


The prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed during the meeting. President Khachaturian and Deputy Prime Minister Ivanovic touched upon the possibilities of expanding and deepening cooperation in the areas of joint interest of the two countries.


Special attention was paid to the implementation of bilateral bilateral initiatives in the field of scientific-educational, as well as the development of cultural ties. The parties agreed to take steps to fully implement the cooperation between the countries.


During the meeting, the need to establish new relations in political, economic, tourism and business spheres and strengthen the existing relations was especially important. President Khachaturyan stressed that the deepening of cooperation in these directions is important for the development of the two countries.


At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the priority for the continued development of democracy and democratic institutions as a guarantee of further prosperity of both countries and strengthening positions in the international community.


The parties agreed to continue high-level dialogue and deepen cooperation in all mutually beneficial spheres.
