On October 13, at 3:07 p.m., the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department was alerted that a truck fell into the Arpa River on the Yerevan-Meghri highway, near the Noravank intersection.
A combat unit from the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs went to the scene. It turned out that the "Scania" truck (driver: Z. G., born in 1990) was on the 110th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway. came from the traffic side of the road and fell into the Arpa river. Before reaching the place where the rescuers were called, the driver and passenger V. M. (born in 1977) got out of the truck cabin.
The rescuers cut off the power to the truck, took out the citizens with the help of a three-legged ladder and brought them to the ambulance. the victims were hospitalized in a medical center.
