The House of Lords of the United Kingdom has raised a question about the cruel treatment of 23 Armenians captured by Nagorno-Karabakh.
As reported by Armenpress, the bishop of Vincester, the question of Labor, and Baroness Jenny Chepman, answered the question, presenting the answer to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Development.
The Bishop asked the statement of the British authorities to apply to the Azerbaijani government, and what steps are being taken with international partners to ensure its international obligations.
In response, Baroness Chabman noted that the British authorities called for the Azerbaijani authorities to face a fair trial in September 2023 and be kept in safe conditions, according to Azerbaijan's international obligations.
"Our embassy is closely following these cases in Baku and regularly requires updates to be aware of the current developments. We also continue to call for the release of all the other prisoners of war.
