Due to the earthquake in Myanmar, several bridges were closed in Bangkok

Some bridges in Bangkok, including the Rama III, crossed the Chao Praya River in the center of Thailand's capital due to the earthquake in neighboring Myanmar, Bangkok Post reports.
"Some bridges in Bangkok, for example, the Rama III bridge, have been closed due to the recent earthquake," the newspaper writes.

Earlier Friday, Myanmar Now reported that the bridge was collapsed due to a powerful earthquake in Sagaing in the northwestern Myanmar. The historic Mandalay Palace, which is considered one of the main symbols of the city, was partially destroyed.

A magnitude 7.7 earthquake shook Myanmar, and the tremors have been felt in five neighboring countries, including almost the entire territory of Thailand. According to media reports, at least three people were killed in Bangkok, and 81 people were missing.
