Georgia has appointed new ambassadors to Austria, Uzbekistan and Belarus


Georgia has appointed new ambassadors to Austria, the UAE, Uzbekistan and Belarus, as well as representatives in various international organizations.


Alexander Maisuradze became the Georgian Ambassador to Austria, as well as the permanent representative in other international organizations located in the OSCE and Vienna. Maisuradze has been in the diplomatic service since 1998. In the past, he was the Permanent Representative of Georgia at the UN Office in NATO and NEWS GEORGIA portal.

 

Revaz Lominadze became the permanent representative of Georgia at the UN in Geneva. In the past, he was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia in Cyprus and Switzerland.


Georgia's diplomatic mission in the UAE will be headed by Giorgi Janjganavan. Since 1994, he has held various positions in the Georgian Foreign Ministry, in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Iran and Pakistan.


David Kotarya, who has previously been the post of Belarusian ambassador to Uzbekistan, has become Georgia's ambassador to Uzbekistan.


Georgian Saganelidze has been appointed Georgian Ambassador to Belarus, who has previously held a similar position in Armenia.
