The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Kir Starmer has confirmed the independence of London in making decisions on the use of nuclear weapons (nuclear weapons). The Prime Minister touched upon the topic of the Daily Telegraph newspaper in English Barou, where the Kingdom Navy Dreadnought class strategic missile submarine will be installed on Thursday.
"In Europe, the United Kingdom remains the leader in defense and security, as we have an independent restraining force and we are loyal to NATO," Karmer said.
"In this narrow area, we certainly cooperate with the United States, we have done it for a few decades, and this position will be maintained during the last generation of restraining forces," he added. Starmers also stressed that from his point of view, Moscow "appreciates the nuclear potential of the United Kingdom."
Last week, Deputy Defense of the United Kingdom Lord Vernon Cocker said that the British nuclear independence from the United States and "only the Prime Minister can order nuclear weapons to the use of NATO's [collective].
