The Kyrgyz parliament approved the ratification of the agreement on the state border with Tajikistan, the press service of the Republic Legislative Assembly told reporters on Wednesday.
The bill signed on March 13, 2025, the bill "On the ratification of the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajik State Border on the Kyrgyzstan-Tajik State Border" was adopted in three readings.
It is noted that the deputies also ratified the agreement on the construction and use of highways with Dushanbe, the agreement on the availability of water and energy facilities.
The thousand kilometurn boundaries between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan regularly turned to a serious clashes between local residents and border guards of the two countries.
