Veterans of the Great Patriotic War living in Moldova will receive 30,000 lei (1538 euros).
"The government has adopted this important decision to grategrum and deep respect for those who have fought against Nazism and for peace," said the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers in Telegram.
The report states that only 28 participants of the war have survived in Moldova today. Every year they receive one-time payments to 10,000 Lei (512 euros).
