This was reported by the Kremlin's press service, noting the readiness of Moscow to work together with American counterparts.
The Russian leader stressed that the settlement of the conflict requires a detailed discussion and should be aimed at creating stable conditions. According to the Kremlin, the parties exchanged views on the current situation, but the details of the dialogue were not revealed.
"The Russian President has announced his readiness to work with his American counterparts to research the situation in detail, which should be comprehensive, stable and long-term," the statement said.
