The EU Council has approved a decision to provide almost 2 billion euros for reforms in Moldova. This is stated in the statement of the European Institute.
"Today, the Council grew the final green light for the creation of a reform and growth fund for the Republic of Moldova, which will support the EU-related reforms and economic growth in the country.
The 1.9 billion euro package provided by the foundation is the largest financial support package of the EU since Moldova's independence and complements the other significant EU support to the country, "the document said.
