Tajikistan and Russia are long-term strategic partners, the relations are gradually developing, said Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
"Tajikistan and Russia are long-term strategic partners and allies, it is gratifying that the interstate dialogue is actively developing," Rahmon said in talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He added that Russia is a leading trade partner of Tajikistan.
"Cultural and humanitarian ties are successfully developing security issues on the bilateral agenda," he said.
