President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Massoud Pezeshki expressed satisfaction with the agreement on the text of the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and congratulated the two neighboring countries on the occasion of "this important event."
This is stated in a statement posted on the website of the Iranian President's website on the current telephone conversation between Pezeshkian and RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
"Iran has always welcomed the establishment of peace, reconciliation and stability in the region, especially with its neighbors, maintaining the territorial integrity of the countries," the statement said.
