On March 15, His Holiness Garegin Secretary Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received M. in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. V. The meeting was attended by the director of the Foreign Relations and Protection Department of the Mother See. His Grace T. Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan and the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhichevan Grace T. Archbishop Ezras Nersisyan.
Mr. Melkonyan, presenting the guests, provided information about the cooperation between the two educational institutions, which aims to establish the "Armenology" bachelor's program at the Institute of Armenian Studies and the deepening of cooperation in that sphere.
The Armenian Apostolic of the Moscow State University and YSU programs and programs in the field of Armenology will contribute to the further deepening of mutual recognition, the cooperation of education, culture and science's friendships in the strengthening of the friendship between the two fraternal peoples.
During the conversation, the director of the Institute of Asian and African Countries of the Africa of MSU presented the prospects of Armenology in the study of Armenology, studying and disseminating Armenian culture, language and history. In this regard, Mr. Maslov also highlighted the cooperation with the Armenian Diocese of the Mother See and Russia and New Nakhichevan.
In his turn, His Holiness emphasized that the Armenian Church can lead to the effective implementation of the Armenianology program.
