Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephoste of Saudi Arabia, chairman of the Council of Ministers Mohamed Ben Salman al-Saud, the Kremlin's press service reported.
"The Russian President praised the mediation efforts of Saudi Arabia, thanked, in particular on February 18 to create favorable conditions for the talks between Russia and the United States," the statement said.
In his turn, Saudi Crown Prince has announced the importance of the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and expressed readiness to support the normalization of relations between Russia and the United States.
