The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"We are pleased to note that negotiations on the text of the draft agreement on the establishment of peace and interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia have ended.
We reaffirm the long-term and principled position of Azerbaijan that the amendment to the RA Constitution aimed at eliminating the requirements of Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity is a necessary precondition for signing the text.
We are ready to continue the bilateral dialogue on these issues related to the process of normalization of relations between the two countries, "the statement said.
