Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO) has reported an increase in seismic activity in Alaska spour volcano, located near the largest city in the state.
"Seismic activity remains high. Within the last 24 hours, many small, highly small, highlights of the volcano, are regularly visible from nearby settlements, "the department said in a statement.
According to AVO, the growth of gas emissions confirms that a new magma has penetrated the volcano and shows that "the eruption can happen during the next few weeks or months."
The observatory added that before the possible eruption, experts expect to increase seismic activity, gas emissions and warming of surface.
