Former Philippines President Rodrigo Dutch has been arrested on charges of crimes against humanity, the International Criminal Court (MCD) said.
The court found that crimes are part of a coordinated political attack on the policy of Davao's death detachment (DDS) during his presidency during the tenure of DDS. Investigators say that these actions have killed thousands of people in several years.
The Chamber noted that Duterert and his surroundings have coordinated the actions aimed at killing people suspected of crimes, including drug crimes. This practice was initially introduced in Davao, then spread throughout the country.
