The executive body of the Republican Party of Armenia issued a statement, which reads:
"The executive body of the Republican Party of Armenia strongly condemns the mediation of about 7 years of political persecution against the RA Prosecutor General of the RA National Assembly by the RA National Assembly.
We reaffirm that this process is another example of illegal use of the law enforcement system against opposition figures in Armenia.
A fact that has been reported in reports and resolutions of a number of international organizations.
It is also noted that Taron Margaryan's other members of the RPA Supreme Body members and the 3rd president of Armenia, RPA President Serzh Sargsyan are conditioned by two main circumstances.
. • Extension of fake criminal cases starting about seven years ago to invent new ways of political persecution,
• Deviation from the next anti-government actions of the managers, trying to limit the struggle of the Republican Party of Armenia against these actions.
Both the first, in the second case, today's rulers have mistaken in their insidious calculations, the fair struggle and imminent victory of patriots. "
