The EU calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to take additional decisive steps

The European Union welcomes the progress regarding the protocol signed on May 15 during the 9th session of the border commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan within the framework of the demarcation process based on the 1991 Almaty Agreement. Such a statement was made by Peter Stano, press secretary of the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Affairs.

It is noted that the EU calls on the parties to take additional decisive steps for the settlement of other unresolved bilateral issues and remains committed to supporting efforts aimed at ensuring lasting and stable peace in the South Caucasus region.
