All the initial goals and principles of the OSCE are now grossly violated and ignored, NATO and EU countries have managed to crisis, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"All the initial goals of the organization and the principles that are based on consensus are now grossly violated and ignored," Lavrov said in talks with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu.
The Russian Foreign Minister stressed that Sinirlioglu has led the secretariat to the difficult moments.
"The organization approached the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act in a very deep crisis, which was pushed by NATO and the European Union," the minister said.
The Minister added that the Russian side hopes for the experience and wisdom of Sinirlioglu to return everything possible to return to his origins and principles, which "have been solemnly declared in the declarations, and who now really need Europe."
