With the framework of the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan, the meeting of the Deputy Chiefs of Deputy Prime Minister and the French Development Agency, CEO, was held.
At the beginning of the meeting, Tigran Khachatryan stressed the role of the French Development Agency in the process of continuous expansion and deepening of bilateral multi-state cooperation with France. Referring to the effective cooperation of years, the Deputy Prime Minister praised the role of the RA Government's Reform Agenda, including the introduction of more transparent financing and managing the private sector and managing more transparent mechanisms.
The interlocutors also stressed the importance of effective cooperation in the development of infrastructure. In this context, reference was made to the construction of the Vedu reservoir and irrigation system, emphasizing the importance of handing over the reservoir this year.
Highly appreciating close cooperation with Armenia in this direction, the General Director of the Republic of Armenia reaffirmed the willingness of the agency to participate in important infrastructure programs.
At the end of the meeting, among the wide range of issues related to current cooperation, the interlocutors also exchanged views on possible new directions of cooperation.
