The delegation headed by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, paid a working visit to Georgia. A meeting was held in Tbilisi with the head of the revenue service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia Levan Kakawa.
During the meeting, the parties acquired agreements on the implementation of joint control over the Armenian-Georgian border with the support of the Asian Development Bank.
Necessary steps have been taken to improve the initial electronic data exchange system between the customs authorities of the two countries. In particular, the issues of mutual recognition of electronic gaps used by the other Party were discussed, taking into account the previously reached agreements.
The parties also exchanged the gaming taxation, as well as the attempt to provide the certificate of origin of the product by the customs authorities.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed readiness to implement the agreements reached and ensure the continuous process of cooperation.
