The ARF Gyumri Committee issued a statement on the Gyumri Council of Elders elections.
"Dear people of Gyumri, on March 30, the Council of Elders elections in Gyumri are held in the conditions of the ongoing political crisis in Armenia and the current challenges. These elections are important not only from the point of view of Gyumri management, but also as another platform for the struggle to prevent the reproduction of power and protecting national interests.
In these conditions, the ARF Dashnaktsutyun initially highlighted the need to make a united opposition list in Gyumri. This format did not implement this format for the initial period, so the Gyumri's ARF committee does not consider it expedient to run for its separate proportional list to the upcoming Council of Elders elections.
The ARF Dashnaktsutyun is convinced that the main goal of the opposition forces in this election should be deprived of the possibility of occupying the governance of Gyumri. Accordingly, we call on all opposition forces.
• With a public and clear statement, exclude cooperation with the candidate of the ruling force after the elections,
• It will be willing to cooperate and support the team's maximum trust in the opposition electorate.
We call on our friends and supporters to give them a vote exclusively for the forces that public accept these principles.
