The preliminary investigation of the criminal proceedings initiated in relation to the cases of extortion and appeal to the participant of the criminal subculture group in connection with the issue of changing the name of the land owned by the 43-year-old resident of Yerevan has been completed.
According to the factual data obtained as a result of the large-scale investigative and administrative operations carried out in the investigation department of the Avan and Nor Nork administrative districts of the Yerevan City Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, it was substantiated that the 47-year-old resident of the city of Yerevan illegally built on a part of the land belonging to the SP company located on Gyurjian Street. is a building, about which he had disagreements with the director of the said company, a 43-year-old resident of Yerevan, and the latter's brother. The 43-year-old man offered to solve the problem regarding the land at the mentioned address in accordance with the law, but the 47-year-old man, not agreeing to the mentioned version of the dispute resolution, turned to a member of a criminal subculture group to exercise his alleged right by using his illegal influence. : The latter, taking advantage of his criminal status, expressed his willingness to solve the problem.
The mentioned person with a criminal subculture, along with a 47-year-old man and a group of people, went to the above-mentioned land between January and March 2024, where they met the director of the SP company and his brother. The aforementioned persons, with prior agreement, realizing and complementing each other's actions, presented a demand to the brothers to change the name of the said land after the name of the 47-year-old man, threatening to use violence against them, that is, to "kill" them if they do not hand over the right to the land to the 47-year-old man.
Based on the obtained sufficient facts, the criminal subculture person was charged under Article 324, Part 1 and Article 258, Part 2, Clause 8 of the RA Criminal Code. A 47-year-old man was charged under Article 325, Part 1 and Article 258, Part 2, Clause 8 of the RA Criminal Code, and another person was charged under Article 258, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code. According to paragraph 8 of the above-mentioned three defendants, the preliminary investigation has been completed.
