Kyiv is not discussing a possible ceasefire with the West, Zelensky said

Vladimir Zelensky said that the issue of a possible ceasefire is not discussed among Western partners. “The ceasefire is not discussed with our partners and we did not talk about it (with French President Emmanuel Macron - ed.). I saw a lot of information in the media that I came to talk about a ceasefire. No. This is not so,” Zelensky said during a joint meeting with Macron with the press in France.

Earlier, the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported that Vladimir Zelensky could agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine along the current front line in exchange for security guarantees from the United States and the possibility of accelerated accession to the European Union.

Previously, the Financial Times also reported that Ukraine's allies want it to de-escalate the conflict; the only strategy they are considering is territorial concessions in exchange for Kyiv's membership in NATO. The newspaper also reported that the Kiev regime is already discussing a possible renunciation of territories in exchange for joining NATO or other security guarantees.
