Iran strongly condemns the new package of sanctions imposed on the US oil sales, as reported by RIA Novosti, the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmail Bagha.
"The decision on trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is a part of the legal right to determine their destiny, and none of the parties have the right to hinder or ban them of trade and economic relations," Bagha said.
According to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Bagha noted that US sanctions contradict the UN Charter and violate the rights of Iranians.
