Freedom House has published a reputation of Freedom in the World - 2025 report, "difficult struggle for rights". It assesses the situation in the world of political rights and civil liberties.
According to Freedom House, Armenia and Georgia are partly among the free countries in the region. Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran are included in the group of "non-free" countries.
In the case of Armenia, the total total number of points, and 54 has changed compared to the previous year. In the case of Georgia, the country has worsened its position with three points and now has 55 points instead of the 58 instead of last year's report.
Georgia is one of Armenia and neighboring countries, the units of which have decreased compared to the previous year. Turkey has 33 points, Russia is 12, Iran and 11, and Azerbaijan.
