Federal Council Chairman Valentina Matvienko will pay an official visit to Turkey on February 26-27, meetings with the country's leadership, the press service of the Upper Chamber of the Russian Parliament reports.

"Federal Council Chairman Valentina Matvienko, led by a delegation of the upper house of the Russian parliament, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Turkey on February 26-27. The program of the visit includes meetings with the country's leadership and Turkish parliamentarians.

The press service noted that Matvienko talks with the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (GNTA) Numan Kurtull. The delegation of the Federation Council will also be present at the plenary session of VNST.
