The interlocutors discussed the prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Iceland on the expansion of bilateral political dialogue, various formats and platforms. Reference was made to the next possible visits.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized. "The active dynamics of deepening cooperation with the Nordik-Baltic states testify to the importance of our cooperation in this format, and we are ready to make the current opportunities to make the existing opportunities, both in the context of bilateral sectoral cooperation or regional cooperation."
Ararat Mirzoyan briefed the Icelandic Foreign Minister to deepen Armenia-EU partnership, emphasizing the exchange of experience with Iceland as a member of the EU and the strengthening of the capacity in concrete directions.
The meeting touched upon international and regional developments. Both sides stressed the importance of cooperation on the basis of respect for the basic norms of international law and merging the value system. Minister Mirzoyan also presented the security situation in the South Caucasus and the efforts of Armenia to establish stable peace.
