Considering weather factors, especially heavy snowfall, fog and ice,which often lead to the blocking of vehicles on the highways and obstruct normal traffic, by the order of the Director of the Rescue Service - Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kamo Tsutsulyan, the subordinate units of the Rescue Service have switched to enhanced service.
A number of interstate highways of the RepublicRescuers are conducting regular patrols and have established duty stations. If necessary, bases will be set up in the most problematic areas to provide rapid response, assist drivers, and ensure the safety of citizens.
Rescue Service,for safety reasons, urges to drive exclusively with winter tires, to be more careful, strictly observing the traffic rules.
As part of the enhanced service, rescuers cooperate with police patrols and are ready to help citizens in trouble.
