Venezuela denies accusations of attack on Gayana's army units

The Venezuelan government has strongly denied allegations about the attack on the units of Gayana's Armed Forces in the District of Gayana-Essekibo. This is stated in the Government statement, which is posted on the Telegram channel of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bolivarakan Ivan Gill Pinto.

"The Bolivari Republic of Venezuela strongly rejects the vile falsifications of the Gayana government, which is trying to spread false information on the alleged attack on Gayanian troops," said communiqué.

It emphasizes that "the spread of false news aims to manipulate public opinion and distract from violations of Gayana's international law in Gayana-Essekibo."

The Venezuelan authorities are investigating the attacks on illegal mining, which were carried out under the protection of Gayana-Essekibo.
