On February 18, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan received the newly appointed Angola Republic Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia (residence, Moscow) Augusto Tunya on the occasion of handing over copies of credentials.
Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment, the Deputy Minister expressed hope that the Ambassador will make every effort to strengthen Armenia-Angola relations and further development of cooperation.
The interlocutors touched upon the prospects of intensifying bilateral political dialogue, intensifying trade and economic ties, as well as information technology, diamonds, other spheres of cooperation and other spheres of mutual interest.
