From February 11 to 13, the delegation led by RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan took part in the 87th session of the European Economic Land Transport Committee.

Simonyan stressed that attempts to advance programs with the logic of the territorial "corridor" have a disguised agenda and territorial aspirations.
On February 13, A. Simonyan presented to the members of the Committee the RA Government's "Cross Peace" initiative, speaking about the railway and road components of the program.
Among other issues, Deputy Foreign Minister said that Armenia, as a developing country that has no access to the sea, considers the development of inclusive connections, open borders and transport infrastructure in the region as a priority.
It was also noted that the implementation of this program can completely change the logic of cooperation in the South Caucasus and neighboring regions, transforming the economies of the countries and making them more resistant.
