When will be magnetic storms and who should be wary

The next week, February 17-13, there will be short peace of mind for people who are sensitive to weather conditions. According to experts, there will be no large solar outbursts until mid-year. However, space weather will change dramatically next weekend.

In the coming days, scientists expect that the current trend will continue with a rather low geomagnetic activism, with rarely weak storms and moderate solar flare, director of the Russian Academy of Sciences Anatoly Petrovich.

However, according to him, the end of the week can be an increase in the occurrence of large groups of stains on the Sun.

Earlier, Peterovich noted that large centers of activity on the Sun have not yet been registered. However, the probability of small magnetic storms cannot be ruled out, clarified the scientist. According to the expert, it traditionally increases during the Solar Maximal period. At the moment, there is a tendency for geomagnetic activism due to the emergence of new active regions on the Sun.
