As part of the Munich Security Conference, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholts. Prime Minister Pashinyan wished him health to the victims of the incident in Munich.
During the meeting the parties discussed the agenda of Armenia-Germany bilateral relations and the prospects of deepening multilateral cooperation.
Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted the expansion of bilateral ties and the intensification of trade and economic ties. The interlocutors also touched upon regional security and stability issues. Prime Minister Pashinyan presented his efforts to establish peace in the region, to give details on the basis of the "Peace Crossroads" initiative, as well as the developments in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.
In his turn, Chancellor Sholts noted that Germany is ready to continue to support the agenda of Armenia's democratic reforms, as well as steps to establish peace. At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the readiness to deepen cooperation and stressed the importance of continuity of bilateral political dialogue.
