President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping will arrive in Moscow to attend the Victory Day celebrations on May 9. As reported by the Interfax agency, this was announced on February 10 by the Russian Ambassador to Beijing Igor Morgulov.
"President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping accepted the invitation to participate in the celebrations to be held in Moscow on May 9 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and, in turn, invited Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to the celebrations to be held here in China, which are planned to be held in early September, also on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people in the Anti-Japanese War," he said.
