A man was arrested in Serbia for threatening the president

Serbian police arrested a citizen who threatened the country's president Aleksandar Vucic. This was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia on May 16.

"Due to factors threatening the security of the President of the Republic, Dragan Mijatović from Sombor was detained for 48 hours," Tanjug agency quotes the words of the department.

As Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic said, threats were made to Vucic after the assassination attempt against Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, which was condemned by Serbian Prime Minister Milos Vucevic. He called on the law enforcement agencies to respond to the incident immediately.
