The doctor spoke about the unexpected danger of coronavirus for the brain

The coronary virus can negatively affect the work of the human brain, has warned Neurologist Natalia Glotova. He told Kp.ru about the unexpected threat of the virus.

"Research shows that people who have recovered from the coronary alien, even in a light manner, can feel like a traumatic brain injury. These include dizziness, headaches, loss, shocks and even strokes, - said the doctor.

According to him, some negative consequences of coronavirus are known to the brain today. In particular, the virus increases the risk of memory disorder, provokes the reduction of the brain, change of structure and inflammation of the internal mucosa of the brain vessels.

In addition, it can disrupt the blood-brainbidden barrier that protects the brain from toxins circulating blood.
