"Jermuk Group" considers the publications of the Russian media about the company unfounded

In the Russian media there were false, defamatory and presumption of innocence information regarding the lawsuit filed against "Jermuk Group" company.

"In connection with the publications in the Russian media regarding the lawsuit filed against Jermuk Group PB Company, we inform you that the publications contained untrue, slanderous and violating presumption of innocence information, because neither within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, nor from the numerous inspections carried out (including carried out by the competent authorities of the Russian Federation) has not been substantiated by anyone that the death of Oleg Gusov, a resident of the city of Vladikavkaz, Russian Federation, was caused by As a result of drinking "Jermuk" mineral water or drinking the contents of a bottle of factory-produced "Jermuk" mineral water," the statement specifically states.

The Armenian company considers the lawsuit filed by the family members of the deceased person to be completely groundless, stressing that "Jermuk Group" is not even a party involved in the criminal proceedings initiated by the Russian law enforcement officers regarding the death of Oleg Gusov.

"Jermuk Group" also informs that after the death of Oleg Gusov, relevant evidence based on the results of inspections was carried out by the competent authorities of RA and presented to the Russian side.

"Numerous inspections were also carried out by the competent authorities of the Russian Federation, the results of which also proved that "Jermuk" mineral water meets the requirements set by international standards and is intended for use in food. The fact that the prohibitions applied to the sale of "Jermuk" mineral water have been lifted throughout the territory of the Russian Federation also proves the sufficiency of the above-mentioned evidence.

We hope that as a result of the objective investigation of the criminal case, the innocence of the "Jermuk Group" PB company will be proven once again," the statement said.

Earlier, the Russian media reported that the widow and two daughters of entrepreneur Oleg Gusov filed a 1.5 billion ruble lawsuit against the Jermuk Group company, arguing that the father of the family died of burns as a result of using the contents of a bottle of Jermuk.

It is mentioned in the publications that the bottle of mineral water contained acetic acid, which is used for washing dishes. It is reported that according to the forensic examination, Gusov died from "exotoxic shock caused by chemical trauma, poisoning with hemolytic poison (acetic acid)".

According to the Russian press, the representatives of the plaintiffs studied the technologies used in mineral water bottling plants and believe that acetic acid appeared in the bottle as a result of a violation of the production process. "water" company and individual entrepreneurs involved in the transfer of this product.

The injured party also demands to stop the sale of mineral water until it is officially found out how the acetic acid got into the bottle.

"The Food Safety Inspection Body presented the relevant evidence to the Russian side, based on inspections, which proved that "Jermuk" mineral water meets the requirements set by international standards and is intended for use in food.
