As noted by the diplomatic mission, the head of the press service of the State Department, Matthew Miller, "is not judge and jury" in issues related to Minsk.
"His "condemnation" is irresponsible and irrelevant. The people of Belarus express their will and strive for happiness, not taking into account the wishes and whims of the American regime," the embassy emphasized.
On Friday, the representative of the State Department in X presented the hypothesis of the alleged impossibility of holding free and fair presidential elections in Belarus.
