The number of people who died from adulterated alcohol poisoning in Istanbul has reached 30, reports the Turkish "Anadolu" news agency. Of the 66 hospitalized with poisoning, 4 have already been discharged from the hospital after being treated, 31 are in the intensive care unit, 18 are in other units.
On January 14, it became known about mass poisoning from adulterated alcohol in Istanbul.
Dozens of people with acute symptoms of methanol poisoning went to hospitals in different parts of the city. The law enforcement bodies initiated criminal cases, including the "attempted murder" article, and there are arrests.
